The inflatable lifeguard rescue board is very quick and easy to fully inflate. All our boards are supplied with a two way pump (the same as the one used in the video) so its really fast to unroll the rescue board and have it inflated and ready to go.
The volume of our rescue boards is a lot less than an inflatable stand up paddleboard so they inflate a lot faster. Please see our post and video comparing the two being inflated HERE.
During our water safety work we often inflate and deflate our inflatable lifeguard rescue boards several times a day. We use them at remote locations where carrying a traditional hard rescue board would not be possible or at least very awkward! So they get deflated, rolled up and into the carry rucksack and walked to the next swim location. Doing this process with an iSUP would be a pain, but as the inflatable rescue boards take a lot air volume the process is quick and easy.
On average a Machine Surf Craft Rescue Board takes 2 minutes and 30 seconds to inflate to 15psi.
